For over twenty-five years, I worked as a Social Emotional Counsellor in international schools in Venezuela, Morocco, Taiwan, India, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Indonesia. Raised overseas, I attended three high schools in four years, an experience that made me acutely aware of the impact of transitions. After experiencing the globally nomadic lifestyle, I chose to raise my son internationally.

Skilled in leading creative workshops for diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, I combine theory and practice using mini-lectures, discussions, and creative activities and simulations designed to foster self-reflection and ensure a deeper understanding of self and the world. Trained in Mindfulness, and Yoga, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, a goal-directed collaborative approach to creating change, and Visual Journaling I have supported people in coping with stress and time-management, anxiety and depression, body image and eating disorders, grief and unresolved loss, sexual abuse and trauma, and self harm.
I served on the Council of International Schools Guidance Committee and was a foudning member of ISCA. I hold degrees in Counselling Psychology, Secondary Education and International Programming and Policy
